Pamela R. Canter

Pamela R. Canter is a Certified Family Law Specialist, and her family law practice includes Collaborative Practice, Mediation, Private Judging, Settlement Conference Facilitation, Consultation, Creation of Pre and Post Marital Agreements, and other transactional family law work. She is a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, California Women Lawyers, and the state and local Bar Associations' sections on Family Law. Her involvement with the San Mateo County Bar Association includes serving on the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Family Law Section for three years, as a member of the Bench and Bar Committee, and as a Director of the Women Lawyers Legal Education Foundation. In 1999, Pamela co-founded the Peninsula Collaborative Family Law Group (now known as Collaborative Practice San Mateo County). She received her undergraduate degree in Romance Languages from New York University in 1989, and her law degree from the University of San Francisco in 1992. She founded Canter•Moorhead in 2000. Pamela is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named a Super Lawyer (top 5% of Northern California Lawyers) each year since 2005.

Lisa R. Veizades

Lisa R. Veizades is Of Counsel to Canter Moorhead. Lisaís family law practice includes Collaborative Practice, Mediation, Consultation, preparation of Pre and Post Marital Agreements, as well as Litigation. Lisa also prepares and administers Estate Plans for individuals and families. She is a member of the California and San Mateo County Family Law and Trusts and Estates Sections. Lisaís involvement in family law in San Mateo began in 1988 when she served as law clerk to the Honorable Rosemary Pfeiffer of the San Mateo Superior Court. Lisa is an active legal volunteer, including serving as a volunteer attorney for Lawyers in the Library and the Ask a Lawyer program on KALW Radio. Lisa volunteers as a mediator for the San Mateo Superior Court as well as the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center. She is also actively involved in the San Mateo community as a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain and Community Emergency Response Team Member. In addition to working as an attorney, Lisa has served as workshop leader for Kidsí Turn and Kids in the Middle at the Family Services Agency in San Mateo. Lisa graduated from Stanford University with a Psychology major in 1985. She received her JD from Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall) in 1988. Lisa holds a Masterís Degree in Psychology from New College of California which she received in 1997. In her spare time Lisa enjoys singing with Viva La Musica, attending San Francisco 49er games, and spending time with her husband and three children.
